Fondazione Turriziani immediately started to work for the renovation of the Socio-educational Center located in Via Appia (Roma) to fit the structure with the new electrical installation. The Salesian sisters have immediately called workers and of course technicians not only regarding the electrical installation but also for the fixing of the restrooms which you can see in the photos. With the help of a Company, our Foundation have found convenient retail stores where to buy the necessary materials needed for the rooms which will serve for the education and support of the children. Fondazione Turriziani purchased 20 school benches with their respective chairs, the necessary black-boards, school supplies such as pencils and pens; geographic materials as well as all the necessary materials for didactic activities for the scholastic education.
In the technical laboratory room, tables, chairs, black-boards and didactic materials such as computers and printers, video screens, copier and bookshelves were purchased.
Fondazione Turriziani prepared a recreation hall with some games such as table soccer and slides but more can be done.
The administrative office has been equipped by the writing desk, computer (with the a particular program for the management inside), printer, copier, cabinet, restroom and a telephone switchboard.
With the funds received, the following shall be carried out:
- complete the recreation hall with a video projector for the film projection;
- complete the preparation of the hall that will serve as theater and music hall. In this hall everything is still needed.
