Solti @ 100 Recording. Recording of Alumni of the Accademia 2004-2011 in a Celebration of Italian Song

The first contribution that the Nando Peretti Foundation gave to the Accademia in 2005 was specifically used to produce a recording documenting each year of the Accademia. Such recordings have been produced until 2009.
Through trial and error it has proved difficult because of the recording conditions in Castiglione and even with editing many tracks were cut. The association has decided to do a professional recording including some of the best alumni from 2004-2011. The Recording will be directed by Jonathan Papp and produced by Maestro Richard Bonynge. The repertoire will be that of Italian Song, rarely recorded on one CD, so in itself important. This will also be a very useful promotional tool for the students involved and the Accademia. The Recording is not commercial and will be used as an educational tool. It will be released in Spring 2012 in honour of the Solti 100 celebrations.
The recording will take place in the Henry Wood Hall London. Directed by Jonathan Papp and Sir Richard Bonynge. Editing will take place in London. The following artists will be taking part:
