 The problem of alcoholism in the rural area of Torrice is such that the Nando Peretti Foundation decided to finance the building of a help center where people can meet and be assisted on a cultural, psychological and religious level. The Parrish of Sant'Antonio lacked any structure besides the very small church.

Building this structure allowed local people to have a reference point where to face the problems related to alcoholism and its consequences. These meetings are organized by the Parrish priest with the aim of giving a psychological and moral help. The funds granted by the Foundation have been entirely used to pay the workers that built the construction for which the Torrice City Council has already given all the necessary authorizations.
