The project was funded to assist derelict people,  immigrates and homeless through the delivery of hot meals. The Società San Vincenzo De Paoli, intends to relieve different forms of poverty (homeless, evicted, jobless) originating  from social hardships and from the increase of illegal immigration. Helping the poor and the needy is also a primary goal of the Nando Peretti Foundation.

The project aims at offering every Friday night assistance in the Tiburtina, Ostiense and S. Pietro train stations, through the delivery of 400 warm meals, sandwiches, warm beverages and other refreshments. Support covers the year 2005.
