The target of the Transfusion Centre is to promote the blood donation, this will support any region to have a self-sufficiency of "secure" blood.
For this reason the setting of a donation - room equipped with all the comforts and up-to- date machinery, will be able to contribute the propaganda and sensitization of the people, for the blood donation.
The project funded by the Nando Peretti Foundation involved buying two armchairs for taking blood samples, a portable soldering machine for blood bags, a distributor with a compressor for the preparation and to fractionate blood, two platform scales supplied by the FRESENIUS firm and of a solder for sterile connections supplied by the TERUMO firm.
The purchase of this technological equipment guarantees the maximum output and asepsis in blood donation.
