The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation is driven by a singular belief: that profound change for present and future generations depends on a harmonious relationship between humans and nature.

In the pursuit of this vision, the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation (NaEPF) champions initiatives that redefine individuals’ relationships with their communities and natural resources. Our support spans conservation efforts, community development projects, educational programs and much more, all aimed at cultivating a fresh mindset—one that recognises the interconnectedness of all living beings and ecosystems and, in doing so, inspires collective action towards a more just and sustainable world. We recognise that this cannot be achieved through charity alone. Instead, our focus lies in instigating systemic shifts, yielding enduring and far-reaching impacts. Achieving a sustainable equilibrium between humans and nature demands a multifaceted strategy. This is why our projects address issues across four broad domains: Environment & Biodiversity Protection, Animal Welfare & Protection, Human Welfare & Rights, and Promotion of Arts & Culture.

Within each sphere, our vision of change prioritises the utilisation of resources to enhance community well-being while bolstering the infrastructure necessary for future progress. At the NaEPF, we embrace a culture of continuous improvement. We rigorously assess the outcomes of initiatives, applying the insights gleaned to refine and enhance our future endeavours. Over two decades, the Foundation has invested over EUR 100 million in upwards of 1.340 projects worldwide. Our interventions have been most pronounced in Europe (61%) and Africa (14%) with a particular focus on humanitarian aid and environmental preservation. Additionally, over the past 25 years, the NaEPF has supported 95 humanitarian and Emergency Relief projects, reaching more than 40 countries across nearly every continent and investing over EUR 9 million.
