BootCamp – Art&Crea: a transformative experience for emerging artists in Sant Martí Vell

From June 2nd to 4th, 2025, the village of Sant Martí Vell hosted a unique and inspiring artistic experience: BootCamp - Art&Crea. Organized by the Princess of Girona Foundation with the support of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation (NaEPF), this immersive event brought together 26 young singers and musicians from the “Generación arte” program, for whom music is a tool for emotional well-being, education, and social transformation.
Over the course of three days, participants embarked on an emotional and creative journey that blended artistic workshops, wellness sessions, inspirational talks, and collaborative creation. The bootcamp was designed to foster teamwork, build creative confidence, and enhance emotional resilience through close contact with nature and the arts. Activities ranged from sunrise yoga to candle-making, all aimed at awakening the senses and strengthening self-expression.
At the heart of the program was ‘Tri-Arte: Music Paints Art’, an immersive experience led by urban artist Manu Campa, where participants reinterpreted one of their own songs by transforming a BMW car into a living canvas. The result was a collective artwork that symbolized the creative potential of young talents and the powerful fusion of music and visual arts.
Throughout the bootcamp, participants connected with Elsa Peretti’s legacy by experiencing the spaces and natural landscapes she lovingly restored in Sant Martí Vell, now protected by the NaEPF’s. These surroundings served not only as a venue but also as a profound source of reflection and purpose, as stated by Stefano Palumbo, Board Member of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation: “It’s a joy to see young artists finding inspiration in the same village that inspired Elsa Peretti. Her legacy lives on through initiatives that blend creativity, nature, and social engagement.”
BootCamp - Art&Crea is more than an event, it is a celebration of talent, a platform for collective expression, and a call for socially conscious artistry. By bridging the arts, nature, and personal development, the initiative continues the legacy of Elsa Peretti, empowering a new generation to create with intention and impact.
“This bootcamp aimed to provide young artists with an innovative and meaningful experience, helping them develop key professional and emotional tools while strengthening their sense of purpose: to inspire others through their music.”
