BootCamp – Art&Crea: A Transformative Experience for Emerging Artists in Sant Martí Vell
From the 13th to the 15th of May 2026, Sant Martí Vell welcomed BootCamp - Art&Crea, a unique and inspiring experience hosted and supported of by The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation (NaEPF) and organized by the Fundación Princesa de Girona. The immersive event brought together fifteen emerging singers and musicians from the “Generación Arte” programme supported by the NaEPF, for whom music serves as a tool for emotional well- being, education, and social transformation.
Over the course of three days, participants engaged in an immersive programme featuring creativity and improvisation workshops and sensory activities, all designed to stimulate inspiration and foster emotional well-being. The bootcamp aimed to encourage teamwork, strengthen creative confidence, and enhance emotional resilience through close engagement with nature and the arts.
Throughout the experience, participants connected with the legacy of Elsa Peretti by discovering the spaces and natural landscapes she restored in Sant Martí Vell, now preserved by the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation. The spaces served not only as a venue for the activities, but also as a profound source of reflection and inspiration.
The Director General of the Fundación Princesa de Girona, Salvador Tasqué, emphasized that the initiative aims to provide young artists with a transformative experience that enables them to “develop key skills for their professional future while acquiring tools for emotional well-being and strengthening their purpose: inspiring young people through their music.” Stefano Palumbo, Board Member of The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, highlighted the inspirational value of Sant Martí Vell, a place that served as a source of creativity for Elsa Peretti and that continues to inspire new generations of artists today. The initiative concluded with a concert at the Colegio Sagrada Familia de Vilarroja. During the performance, the emerging artists of “Generación Arte” presented songs with lyrics designed to promote emotional well-being in the classroom. Among the featured songs were ‘Cántale al miedo’ and ‘La vida es hoy’, which encourage values and socio-emotional skills such as self- confidence, courage, perseverance, teamwork, emotional awareness, and personal empowerment.
BootCamp - Art&Crea represents a celebration of talent, a platform for collective expression, and a call for socially conscious creativity. By bridging the arts, nature, and personal development, the initiative continues the legacy of Elsa Peretti, empowering the new generations to create with intention and positive impact.
“The young artists had the opportunity to discover the legacy of Elsa Peretti, who acquired and restored several properties in Sant Martí Vell, now part of the heritage of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación Princesa de Girona. This culturally and artistically significant setting became an inspiring environment for the development of the programme’s activities.”
