Elsa a Catalunya: Private Screening at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona

The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation presented Elsa a Catalunya, a documentary envisioned by the Foundation and directed by Enrico Ianniello, during a private screening at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona on 16 September 2026.

Based on an idea by Stefano Palumbo, Board Member of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, the 120-minute documentary pays tribute to Elsa Peretti's profound relationship with Catalonia through the vivid firsthand testimonies of her friends and collaborators.

The Palau de la Música Catalana provided the perfect setting for the occasion. One of Barcelona's most important cultural landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, the Palau de la Música Catalana - Fundació Privada Orfeó Català is an institution with which the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation Delegació a Catalunya proudly collaborates, supporting its institutional activities and serving on its Patronage Council.

The evening opened with remarks by Jordi Cabré, Secretary of the Board of the Palau de la Música Catalana, followed by Stefano Palumbo and Enrico Ianniello. Among the attendees were Peter Schwendinger, President of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, Joaquim Uriach Torelló, President of the Palau de la Música Catalana, along with the team of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, estimators of Elsa’s designs for Tiffany and Co., Elsa Peretti’s friends and collaborators, artists, and members of Barcelona’s cultural and philanthropic community.

The screening was held in the Palau’s modern auditorium, where guests participated enthusiastically and recieved as a gift from the Foundation, copies of My Forty Plus Years with Tiffany, the Tiffany & Co., catalogue Elsa Peretti worked on herself back in 2018.

Conceived as a legacy project, Elsa a Catalunya preserves a personal and collective history through firsthand memories, furthering the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation’s broader commitment to safeguarding, documenting, and sharing Elsa Peretti’s life, vision, and work.
