On 21 November 2025, the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation took part in an open class at SDA Bocconi School of Management, within the Master in International Healthcare Management, Economics and Policy (MIHMEP).

The session, titled “The Role of Philanthropy in Global Healthcare,” was led by Stefano Palumbo, Board Member of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation (NaEPF) and Stiven Shala, Executive Coordinator at NaEPF.

The invitation followed the Foundation’s recent support to SDA Bocconi through the financing of two full MIHMEP scholarships for candidates from disadvantaged and underrepresented countries, an initiative aimed at strengthening diversity and leadership in global health education.

During the class, the NaEPF shared its perspective on how philanthropy can drive meaningful and systemic change at the intersection of health, environment, human rights, and social inclusion. The discussion emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to fostering opportunities for young professionals and supporting institutions that contribute to a more equitable and sustainable global health ecosystem.

The Foundation expresses its gratitude to SDA Bocconi and the MIHMEP faculty for this opportunity to engage with future leaders in healthcare management and policy and looks forward to continuing the collaboration.
